We generally have in stock cleaning supplies, engine oils and filters, safety equipment, stainless hardware, electrical supplies, and accessories for docking. The items we carry in store are the ones we use on our own boats and with that we have the confidence to recommend them to you.
Unfortunately we can’t have everything in store… So we order, a lot! We have access to the largest marine distributors in Canada and the US with most of them offering next day delivery. If you’re looking for a specific piece of hardware or that must have accessory, we might not have it in stock but we can most likely get it. If we can’t, we will be happy to tell you where you might be able to find it.
Our History
Dan’s Nautical Shop was started by Dan Denomme (pictured above) in 2014. Dan is a legend in the local marine industry with 40+ years of experience and a vast knowledge of everything related to boats. Dan always tried to help every customer find what they needed to get back out on the water and we’ve kept that same focus today. In 2017, Chris Courey purchased Dan’s Nautical Shop from Dan after working with him for a year. We definitely do not have the knowledge that Dan had, but we’re working towards it and have the same focus of helping local boaters get back on the water safely to enjoy their boating season. Unfortunately, Dan passed away in 2021 after a battle with ALS. We will forever keep him in our hearts as we remember him as the founder of Dan’s Nautical Shop, a great marine professional and business operator, an amazing mentor and a great friend. We will miss him every day.
